Jerusalem Event: How America Gives

September 29, 2013 By eJP

US_and_Israel_flagsEvery year, hundreds of Israel-focused NPOs represented in the U.S. seek charitable support from American donors, yet the charitable marketplace continues to evolve at breakneck speed. Even Jewish Federations, traditional bastions of support for Israel, are creating new models to respond to the new needs and desires of donors.

Are international NPOs keeping pace?

Join Avrum Lapin and Dan Brown as they review the results of the 2013 Giving USA Report on Charitable Giving for 2012, and analyze the critical implications for Israel-based NPOs and their leadership teams.

Monday, October 28th

8:30am – 10:30am

PresenTense Hub | Hillel 14
4th Floor | Jerusalem

Topics will include:

  • How America Gives: Understanding the most popular vehicles for charitable gifts in 2012 and how crowd funding, donor-advised funds and the recovering economy are shaping America’s charitable marketplace.
  • The Evolution of the Federation Model: How Jewish Federations across the country are succeeding in new ways by augmenting their models and responding to changing constituent needs.
  • The Importance of Donor Stewardship: Creating donor-centric gift acknowledgement policies to keep your cause a top priority within a competitive marketplace.

This seminar is being offered free-of-charge, but attendees must RSVP by Wednesday October 23, 2013 to lsylvia@ehlconsulting.com
