Hazon Announces Mini Grants

Hazon in Colorado is awarding $25,000 in mini-grants for projects that will make the Colorado Jewish community healthier and more sustainable. They have opened their annual request for proposals. All applications are due by July 31st at 5:00 PM MST.

Grant recipients will be awarded $1,000-$4,000 grants that collectively inspire and grow a range of programs in the Denver/Boulder area that utilize Jewish outdoor, food, farming, and environmental education (JOFEE), and support the growing JOFEE movement. To qualify, projects must help to create healthier and more sustainable communities in the Colorado Jewish community and individual Jewish lives. Start a Jewish garden! Reduce the carbon footprint of your synagogue! Even a Jewish urban goat farm is not out of reach!
