Registration is now open for Birthright’s Summer 2016 sessions. Applicants can register for trips running from May through September 2016 including Birthright Israel’s new academic trip, which allows students to earn up to three college credits during a 13-day Birthright Israel adventure. Birthright Israel Academic participants select from three courses provided by Tel Aviv University, Ben-Gurion University or IDC Herzliya. The official launch comes after a successful pilot this winter.

Additionally, Birthright Israel will offer an abridged seven-day trip that was created to accommodate students and young adults unable to take 10 days off from school or work. The condensed itinerary includes the same historical and cultural sites as the full trip, but at an accelerated pace.

Two new specialized trips are also available for the first time:

  • Jews at Law for students looking to enter the legal field
  • Innovation Nation for participants interested in Israel’s booming tech and start-up industries
