Jenny Kibrit Smith Joins Foundation for Jewish Camp as Talent Director
Foundation for Jewish Camp (FJC) has announced the appointment of Jenny Kibrit Smith to its staff in the newly-created role of Talent Director.
FJC has grown significantly over the past year – including the creation of a regional office structure – and will continue to expand in line with its most recent strategic plan. As Talent Director, Jenny will oversee all aspects of FJC’s hiring, talent development and retention, and HR administration to provide essential support for the organization’s valued team of 36 employees located across the US.
Jenny is an alumna of the Hornstein Jewish Professional Leadership Program at Brandeis University. She holds an MBA in Social Policy & Management and an MA in Jewish Professional Leadership. She brings years of valuable experience to her new role from her 10.5-year tenure at UpStart, most recently as its Senior Director, People & Systems. Jenny’s human-centered approach to talent management influenced how the organization designed and delivered opportunities for staff, resulting in the build-out of its first People & Systems Team, creating and implementing strategies for increasing employee satisfaction, redesigning and relaunching an organization-wide goal-setting process, and activating company culture.
As Jenny stated, “I believe social mission ventures are best positioned to thrive when their internal operations reflect their core values as much as their programs do.”
As Talent Director, Jenny Kibrit Smith will ensure that FJC leads by example in cultivating a positive, supportive, and engaging work culture for the talented FJC team.
