Women of Reform Judaism announces New Grant Opportunity for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives
Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ), through its YES (Youth, Education, & Special Projects) Fund, has announced a pilot grant called the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiative to allocate funds to support programs, projects, and initiatives beyond Reform institutions that are committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the Jewish community. This initiative is in response to encouraging creative approaches to today’s society. A typical grant will be in the $5,000-$10,000 range and grant applications are due at the close of business on Friday, December 4, 2020.
“Women of Reform Judaism has a long history of advocating for and promoting progressive Jewish values. We are delighted to offer this grant that specifically fosters diversity, equity, and inclusion in Jewish communities in North America. It is our hope that WRJ’s support will stimulate innovative opportunities that will enrich and strengthen our community,” said Executive Director, Rabbi Marla Feldman.
