Jodi Rudoren, a senior editor and digital leader at The New York Times, has been named editor-in-chief of the Forward.

Rudoren is currently an Associate Managing Editor at The Times in charge of Audience Strategy. In more than two decades at The Times, she has served as Jerusalem bureau chief, Chicago bureau chief, deputy international editor, education editor and deputy Metropolitan Editor.

She begins with the Forward in September.
