Jerusalem Event: Emerging Charitable Markets in the USA

September 2, 2012 By eJP

Do you know where the new and emerging markets are in the USA for Israel-based organizations?

Hundreds of Israel-focused amutot represented in the U.S. seek charitable support from American donors annually, yet many continue to visit the same areas, with the same donors, year after year.

The Jewish community in America has changed dramatically over the last ten years, and new markets for support are emerging.

Are they on your radar?

Join consultant to Israel-based nonprofits Avrum D. Lapin and eJewish Philanthropy‘s Dan Brown as they discuss the emerging marketplaces in the American fundraising arena for Israel-based organizations, and highlight important new discoveries from the recently released report “How America Gives” by The Chronicle of Philanthropy.

Topics will include:

  • America’s Giving Divide: Learn how factors such as tax breaks, politics and neighborhoods effect generosity.
  • Top Jewish Donors for 2012: Discover where the largest Jewish gifts were made in 2012, and if they stayed within the Jewish community.
  • How America Gives: Understand the most popular vehicles for charitable gifts in 2012.

PresenTense Hub  |  Hillel 14  |  4th floor  |  Jerusalem
