Coming Soon: Virtual Symposium on Jewish Education
What does the future of Reform Jewish education look like? Next week, the Union for Reform Judaism will host a Virtual Symposium on Jewish Education on its blog, RJ.org, to give Jewish educators a forum in which answer that question and to give readers the opportunity to join the discussion and create meaningful dialogue.
The symposium will launch on Monday, Sept. 10th, with a post by Dr. Chip Edelberg, executive director of the Jim Joseph Foundation, and each day afterward will feature responsive posts from Reform Jewish educators including Rabbi Jonah Pesner (Union for Reform Judaism), Micah Ellenson (Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion), Rabbi Stanley Schickler (National Association of Temple Educators), Nachama Skolnik Moskowitz (Jewish Education Center of Cleveland) and others.
