Are You Ready to Launch a New Venture?

January 25, 2010 By eJP

Are you interested in educating through gaming, or the arts? What about engaging Jewish youth through social networking or leadership programs. Or, perhaps you have an idea to move a group of people to enact change publicly, privately or politically?

These are just some of the amazing choices open to fellows participating in the 2010 PresenTense Summer Institute in Jerusalem.

During the intensive six week program fellows will learn the skills necessary to make their idea for social change in the Jewish Community a reality. The program offers specialized courses in a variety of areas crucial to launching successful ventures such as: budgeting, fundraising and utilizing social media.

Fellows will be matched with mentors who will guide them in making their venture successful, and, of course, all Institute participants will have the opportunity to network with like minded people from around the world.

So, if you are passionate about social change and the Jewish people applications are now open. You need to apply by February 15th.

For more information, visit the Summer Institute website and the FAQs; you can also just send an email to fellowship@presentense.org. Only sixteen will be accepted to this selective program. Don’t procrastinate – begin your application today!

p.s. if your venture engages the European Jewish community, there is a fellowship just for you.
