Rose Youth Foundation: 10 Years of Impact
Conference Call
January 12, 2012 | 12:30 – 13:30
Sarah Indyk, manager of Jewish Life Initiatives at the Rose Community Foundation, will share results of a newly released evaluation report on the Rose Youth Foundation, a teen philanthropy program, as well as the aspects of the program model she believes are most responsible for its success. The study found that the Rose Youth Foundation successfully educates and empowers teens, effectively transmits Jewish values, and promotes long-term Jewish engagement. Lisa Farber Miller, senior program officer at the Rose Community Foundation, will join the call to share her experiences working with RYF over the past decade. Based on the reports findings, they will also discuss their recommendations for future work. Participants are encouraged to think about implications of the study’s findings on their own teen philanthropy programs.
