Rabbi Daniel R. Allen, z”l
It is with great sadness we inform our readers of the passing last night of Rabbi Daniel R. Allen, 69. Danny was Executive vice Chairman Emeritus of United Israel Appeal, former Senior Vice President of Jewish Federations of North America, and President/CEO of American Friends of Magen David Adom. At the time of his passing he served on the Board of JPRO Network.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Lou (Frishberg) Allen; his children Sarah, Rabbi Uri (Sari) and Noah (Rena); four grandchildren; and his mother Annie Allen of Jerusalem.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 18th at 10:30 AM at Congregation B’nai Israel, Millburn, NJ.
Shiva will be held at 218 Cerutti Court West Orange NJ at the following times:
Tuesday December 18th 7 pm-9pm – Minyan at 7pm
Wednesday December 19th from 11-3 and 7-9 – Minyan at 8am and 7pm
Thursday December 20th from 11-3 and 7-9 – Minyan at 8am and 7pm
Friday December 21st from 10-1
Saturday night December 22nd – Mary Lou and Uri will be at 218 Cerutti Court in West Orange from 6-9 pm. Noah and Sarah will be at 150 Bennett Avenue #2C NYC 6-9 pm
Sunday December 23rd – Mary Lou, Sarah and Noah will be at 218 Cerutti Court in West Orange from 12-4 pm and 7-9pm – Minyan at 7pm
Noah and Sarah will be at 150 Bennett Avenue #2C NYC Minyan at 8:45 am shiva until 10:30 am
Monday December 24th Minyan at 8 am
