The Holocaust Educational Trust has launched, 70 Voices: Victims, Perpetrators and Bystanders, an app presenting 70 different perspectives on this uniquely dark and challenging period of our history, to mark 70 years since the end of the Holocaust. The free app, which uses the latest digital technology, is available to download for Android and Apple devices.
Each day, for a total of 70 days, the app will explore the Holocaust through 70 different voices – including victims, perpetrators, bystanders and other witnesses to the Holocaust. This allows users to better understand the very individual and devastating impact that it had on the victims as well as the mind-set of the perpetrators.
At the end of each week, the Holocaust Educational Trust will be hosting a podcast which will explore the themes in more detail and discuss their implications to help improve our understanding of the Holocaust.
