College Leaders Gather in Philadelphia to “Bake a Difference”
Over 50 participants – current student leaders and alumni – gathered in Philadelphia this past Sunday for the 4th annual Leadership Summit hosted by Challah for Hunger (CfH). The conference provided the participants with leadership and advocacy training – with a fcous on strategies to increase Jewish engagement, social justice, community service and giving on college campuses.
Founded at Scripps University in 2004, CfH today has 60 chapters worldwide, with most operating on college campuses. Each chapter donates 50% of their profits to global causes and 50% to support local organizations in their communities.
A second summit will be held on February 9, 2014 in Los Angeles.
