Ayeka to Expand Soulful Education in Day Schools Across North America

November 14, 2017 By eJP

Ayeka: The Center for Soulful Education will expand its Soulful Professional Development program in Day Schools in North America.

Ayeka will train Judaic Studies teachers in up to 8 Day Schools to implement its Soulful Education pedagogy in their classrooms, as well as to coach colleagues in their schools in Ayeka’s methodology. The multi-year program will include retreats, on-site coaching sessions, individual mentoring and webinars for staff, as well as for the administrations of the selected Day Schools.

Ayeka has issued a Request for Applications (RFA) from schools interested in participating in this foundation-funded venture to introduce Ayeka’s Soulful Education methodology into their Judaic Studies programs. The RFA can be viewed here.

The deadline for submitting an application is December 12, 2017. Interested schools should schedule a preliminary conversation with Ayeka’s Director, Aryeh Ben David by emailing him at aryeh@ayeka.org.il. Schools that are accepted into the program will be notified by January 15, 2018.

For more information regarding Ayeka’s Soulful Education methodology and unique approach to Jewish Education, see ayeka.org.il/who-we-are/our-story / and ayeka.org.il/who-is-ayeka-for/high-school-educators/
