World Jewish Relief Launches Gifts Website

April 15, 2011 By eJP

World Jewish Relief (WJR) has launched ‘Wjrapped Up’, an online gifts website for the Jewish community that allows supporters to choose a gift to change the world. The website enables visitors to purchase a special range of charity gifts reflecting the work of WJR, including buying a food package for a family in the Ukraine, a pair of glasses for a child in Moldova or providing access to a mobile health center in Haiti.

Gifts can be chosen by price, country or occasion and span WJR’s projects in areas including humanitarian needs, livelihood development, community development, disaster and rehabilitation or education.

Wjrapped Up follows on from the success of myWJR, the custom website that enables fundraisers to set up their own sponsorship page without paying a fee on donations made, so all the money raised goes direct to WJR.
