Si3 Social Impact Investment Initiative – Call for Proposals

UJIA launchs 3rd Call for Proposals for Si3 (Social Impact Investment Initiative) in Israel

UJIA is seeking entrepreneurs, organizations and initiatives in Israel that aim to generate sustainable, measurable and beneficial social impact (SRI) alongside a financial return (ROI) in areas that align with our core focus in Israel.

Si3 initiative is a cutting edge approach to philanthropy in Israel, providing an alternative method of repayable financing for organizations and enterprises delivering social change. To date UJIA has completed five social impact investments in Israeli social enterprises over the previous two rounds. Selected initiatives receive financial investment, professional assist from UJIA staff as well as guidance from British advisors.

Alongside our existing and ongoing grant work in Israel, these investments enable us to better leverage our charitable funds further towards our social mission in Israel. UJIA’s philanthropic work in Israel promotes social and economic mobility for vulnerable communities with a focus on:

  • Education
  • Employment
  • Community Development
