Last Few Spots for Ivriyon 2017!

Are you a day school teacher of Judaic studies, or a graduate student of Jewish education?

Do you aspire to develop and refine skills necessary to teach in Hebrew?

The Davidson Graduate School at JTS will run its popular four-week Hebrew immersion program, Ivriyon, July 3-27, 2017. Ivriyon provides day school teachers with a wonderful opportunity to strengthen their ability to teach Judaic topics in Hebrew. The program is a 4-week, non-denominational immersive experience hosted at JTS in New York. All expenses related to instruction, housing (provided in NYC at JTS dormitories for out-of-town participants), and meals are included in the low participation fee, and full scholarships are available! As an added bonus, participants are matched with a mentor who will guide them through implementation during the 2017-18 school year.

Ivriyon is generously supported by a grant from The AVI CHAI Foundation and is co-sponsored by the William Davidson Graduate School of Jewish Education.

A few more spots are available! Apply soon – the application deadline is June 12, 2017.
