The Honey Foundation for Israel has appointed Rabbi David Hoffman as the organization’s new president.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Rabbi Hoffman served as Vice-Chancellor of JTS and was responsible for working with the Board of Trustees and major supporters, most recently helping to lead JTS’s successful Capital Campaign. Rabbi Hoffman was a faculty member at JTS and advisor for the Rabbinical school for almost 20 years. He was ordained by JTS and earned his Ph.D. in Talmudic and Rabbinic Literature from the institution. He also spent extensive time living and studying in Israel.
