Bibi Wants Sharansky to Head JAFI

In what may not go over well among the Diaspora fundraising community, the Jerusalem Post is reporting this morning that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will soon ask former minister and dissident Natan Sharansky to serve as chairman of the Jewish Agency.

How will this same community that effectively vetoed Sharansky’s appointment in 2005 react now?

And, what about the proposed changes to JAFI’s board goverenance dealing with senior level appointments?
