Beit Hatfutsot Launches World Purim Album Project

  • So how did our costumes look throughout the ages in different countries? How did Queen Esther look in the 1950’s? What about her style in the 21st century? What does the Chicago Batman have in common with the Tel Aviv Batman? Which creations were most popular in the 70’s; in London, Haifa, Rio de Janeiro, Montreal, and Kibbutz Tirat Zvi? Which tastes have changed with time and which have stayed the same?

Join Us in a Global Purim Picture Album

Search your old dusty albums and check out your latest digital pics, and then share these treasured memories. Post pictures from past to present – from kindergarten and school until today. Include photos of yourself, family and friends in costume and together we will create a fun, nostalgic and memorable global family album that captures the joy of Purim throughout the Jewish world.

Include with each picture: Date, location, costume title and an interesting anecdote if you wish.
