- Yeshiva University officially puts their loss at $110 million
- Jacob Ezra Merkin’s Ascot Partners – $1.8 billion (not a typo)
- Julian J. Levitt Foundation – $6 million
- Yad Sarah – $1.5 million
- The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles – $6.4 million
- Bank Hapoalim (Peilim portfolio management company) – $5 million
Three more organizations announcing they have no known liability:
- The Jewish Federation of Rhode Island
- Milwaukee Jewish Federation and their Community Foundation
- Helen Bader Foundation
Melissa Berman, president of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors in New York, sums it all up this way: “I can’t think of anything since the Great Depression that had an impact of this size.”
