The Mandel Leadership Institute has announced that registration for Cohort 27 of the Mandel Jerusalem Fellows (MJF) is now open.
MJF is a residential fellowship program based at the Mandel Leadership Institute in Jerusalem, running from September 2009 through July 2010. The program provides exceptional leaders in Jewish education and community innovation with a year-long learning experience to reflect on their professional practice, challenge and refine their conceptions of Jewish life and engagement, and to develop a well-grounded vision for the next phase of their careers.
MJF is interested in professionals who will help shape the nature of Jewish life; looking not only for candidates who are talented Jewish educators, but for those who are interested in effecting broad change. Some of these could be classified as entrepreneurs or innovators, often working in newer, smaller contexts outside the Jewish establishment; others may occupy important positions in major Jewish organizations.
