Briefing: Pittsburgh Jewish Communal Immediate Needs

November 1, 2018 By eJP

In the aftermath of the brutal and tragic terrorist attack on the Tree of Life * Or L’Simcha, Dor Hadash, and New Light congregations, the Pittsburgh Jewish community is only beginning a journey of mourning and recovery. The community faces urgent needs related to security, trauma therapy, and more. While funders must think long-term about security in every Jewish community, for the moment the Jewish world must pay special attention to Pittsburgh’s needs.

Join Jeffrey H. Finkelstein, President & CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, for an online briefing on the immediate needs and situation of greater Pittsburgh’s Jewish community as a whole as they support one another through this excruciating time.

You will also hear from Dr. Jordan Golin, President and Chief Executive Officer, Jewish Family and Community Services, and Brian Schreiber, President and CEO, Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh.
