It’s wonderful to see what Toronto has been able to do in broadening the educational landscape in this way. In case anyone is wondering where the name “Wow!” for this initiative comes from, it is a legacy from the program’s beginnings as part of a network of communities working on opening up new avenues for supplementary education that was organized by JESNA and my former colleague, Dr. Leora Isaacs. It’s good to see that legacy bearing fruit, as it has in Hartford, CT as well.
