World Confederation of Jewish Community Centers Receives $100k Challenge Grant

The Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Foundation of Cleveland, Ohio has awarded a $100,000 challenge grant to the World Confederation of Jewish Community Centers (WCJCC) to promote and enable the building of WCJCC’s worldwide capacity.

According to Morton L. Mandel, Chairman and CEO of the Foundation, “As the founding president of WCJCC, now is the time to build WCJCC’s organizational strength, and enable it to play a more pivotal role in developing global Jewish leadership.”

WCJCC, established in 1977, is an umbrella organization of more than 1,100 JCCs worldwide. It is dedicated to strengthening Jewish Peoplehood with programs that span the entire world to build global Jewish leadership.
