    Thank you Michelle for writing this really important piece.When people ask me to imagine what Jewish education could and ought to look like i often consider would it take for Jewish educators to be trained in PERMA? Talk about transforming the field and even the world….

    Thank you! The question that has come up over and over in my mind as we have been having this discussion is “What does everyone mean by happiness?” How can we discuss whether or not this is the goal of Jewish education if we have not agreed on what we mean by happiness. The framework which you have laid out makes me more comfortable with the idea of Happiness being a goal and also more comfortable even having a conversation about its value.
