Weinberg Foundation Announces New Grants

More than 1,000 confirmed nonprofit, business and community leaders were scheduled to attend a community breakfast yesterday sponsored by the The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation of Baltimore. The event was called to announce that $200 million in grants will be distributed over the next two years; of that $21 million in new grant funds will be available.

A new grant cycle process was also announced that will begin August 3, 2009, when The Weinberg Foundation will accept new Letters Of Inquiry from nonprofits seeking to secure some of the $21 million in new funds available.
