Three New Organizations Join the UpStarter Program

Meet the newest UpStarters:

Come & Listen
Come and Listen is a radio show/podcast that offers provocative insights and interviews of emerging Jewish thought leaders on topics of general interest to young adults. The “secret sauce” is the dialogue between the co-founders, sisters Hannah Kapnik Ashar and Alyssa Kapnik, delivered in a kind of Car Talk meets This American Life way.

Rosh Pina

Elana Naftalin-Kelman’s project is Rosh Pina, which strives to achieve the inspiring vision of a Jewish community in which organizations and synagogues line up for a certification process to demonstrate to themselves and others that their Jewish mission includes Jews regardless of ability or disability.

JLens
Julie Hammerman wants Jews to think about what’s good for Israel and the Jewish people when making investment decisions. JLens aims to put the Jewish community’s capital to work by creating creating “Impact Investment” opportunities to encourage individuals and institutions to invest their dollars through a Jewish lens.

UpStart continues to support: Urban Adamah, A Wider Bridge, The Kitchen, Ketuv, and Edah.
