    Thanks Darren for this follow up piece and for your answers to the question posed to you. I appreciate your insistence that this work needs to start with the self. I do have a concern that your prescription might some to “self-improvement” that begins and ends with the self. I also recognize that if this work doesn’t start with the self, it likely won’t lead to meaningful or sustainable engagement with others. Time for each of us to find ways to be more of the change we want to see in the world. Thanks again and big love your way. 🙂

    Along with meditation and education, congregations should consider community organizing. We can have so much more impact as communities than as individuals. There is a lot of expertise out there that can make us so much more successful at doing this. Don’t reinvent the wheel!
