Stephen Muss Presents $5 Million Gift to Jewish National Fund (US)

Florida philanthropist Stephen Muss, Chairman of the Alexander Muss High School in Israel (AMHSI), stole the show at the recent JNF Conference in Denver. After thanking JNF for agreeing to acquire the school and integrate it into its Zionist education efforts, Muss presented a check for $5 million to JNF, along with a challenge grant to raise an additional $1 million before the end of 2013.

In speaking with eJP following the Conference, Muss said, “The acquisition of AMHSI by JNF ensures the continuity and growth of our joint effort for teen educational travel in Israel to ensure Jewish continuity and perhaps to receive long sought-after support from the Israel government and the Jewish Agency.”
