Shhhh… Don’t Tell

Merkaz Hamagshimim – a year-round English speaking community, educational center and a home to many Anglos who have chosen to live in Israel has been sold by Hadassah. Current residents have until the end of December to vacate their rooms.

Opened in 1996, the beautiful campus in Jerusalem’s German Colony should certainly bring Hadassah needed cash and lower expenses to YJ programs in Israel.

But, don’t tell anyone. Like everything else at Hadassah, it’s a big secret – even to many of their stakeholders.
