Schusterman Family Foundation Announces Sixth Cohort of Schusterman Fellows

From experiencing a global pandemic, to grappling with generation-defining economic crises, to witnessing unconscionable acts of violence toward Black Americans, the challenges we have encountered during the past few months demonstrate the need for significant and systemic change throughout our society. To navigate through this moment and toward a more just and equitable future, we need courageous, authentic, values-driven leaders.

The Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation is proud to announce the sixth cohort of Schusterman Fellows to participate in the Schusterman Fellowship. The Schusterman Fellowship is a highly selective, global leadership development program that supports, cultivates and invests in professionals and lay leaders committed to creating change in their organizations, the Jewish community and beyond.

These 27 individuals are leading change at a range of Jewish and secular nonprofit organizations in the U.S., Israel and around the world. From advocating for the rights of refugees to organizing diverse Jewish communities around a commitment to equity and justice, these Fellows are putting Jewish values into action and rising to meet the unprecedented challenges before us.

The Schusterman Fellowship’s approach is well-suited to support Fellows in leading through and beyond the challenges we face in this moment. At the heart of the program is the belief that leaders cannot lead others or systems effectively unless they first know how to lead themselves. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, Fellows are able to customize their journey through the program and focus on developing skills that best align with their professional goals and the needs of their organizations.

The Fellowship is part of Schusterman’s broader effort to invest in exceptional leaders who can build strong organizations that make a meaningful impact and improve the world.
