Project Zug courses cover a wide variety of topics, from the songs of Leonard Cohen to Jewish philosophy, to social justice. This November, Project Zug features two brand new courses, bringing the total of course options to 28.

“Retell: Ancient Jewish Stories Reimagined,” a course created by actor and educator Jon Adam Ross and the InHeritance Project, brings forward the deep connection of storytelling throughout Jewish tradition, through the sharing of four stories inspired by a passage from the Torah, retold with a modern twist. Project Zug learners will hear these stories first hand, and then have a chance to unpack them and apply their own voice.

“Sex, Love, and Relationships, ” a course created by Rabbi Avi Strausberg will dive into some of the most important questions of our times – what does it mean to love someone? What does a holy, healthy, sex life look like? The rabbis were comfortable discussing these topics, and so should we. Use traditional texts as a jumping point for your own interpretations and understandings of what it means to be in a relationship.
