Marci – Thank you! It’s a wonderful piece, and for me a special treat. I was Norman Tokayer’s very first thesis advisee. Dean Mort Teicher called me into his office and explained that while Rabbi Tokayer was “new”, he thought he could be very helpful to me in writing my thesis about social group work with 10th grade boys at the Mid-Island YM-YWHA. It turned out to be a very special year for me, mainly due to Norman’s insights and counsel. I learned so much from him. Thanks so much, Marci! – Steven

Just had the opportunity to read this now-thanks Marci! Brought back my own experience in a group dynamics class, which taught me so much that is of value in my work. You said it so well!
