According to the Philadelphia Business Journal, the National Museum of American Jewish History‘s new building is nearing completion with staff move-in planned for next month and public openings in mid-November.

“Fundraising for the project has experienced a “real uptick” after a dry period of about 10 months. The increase has come as construction of the building progressed and the economy has picked up. A year ago, just shy of $120 million had been raised. That figure now stands at about $130 million.

The capital campaign’s goal is $150 million, which will go toward not only construction costs but an endowment.
