Passing Out Passover Food Boxes in Lod

Last week, IDF soldiers and other volunteers packed produce, canned food, and other cooking staples into boxes at the Yad B’Yad warehouse in Lod in time to distribute to needy families. Each box includes chicken, fish, dry food, oil, fruits, vegetables and, of course, matzah.

This year the program will feed some 5,000 people from a number of impoverished communities.
