Thank you Mark.. your surveys are always inclusive, useful and important. Thanks for putting this one out.

Where can we find the full study report that would include methodology and respondent characteristics?

Shalom Mark,
You wrote, “ This non-random, opt-in survey was conducted May 4-19, 2020, among 860 Jews in the U.S., across Non-Orthodox and Orthodox denominations,…”
Sadly there is little if any value here as there is no science.
In terms of the value, in the Orthodox world there currently exist no resources to conduct opt-out surveys. The OU is developing such a capability, which would be a very good move forward for our community. So I would say there is less value than a scientific, random sample, but a starting point.
As an opt-in survey of a new, heretofore unexplored issue in the Jewish community, we recommend review of the verbatim responses, as they shed additional light on community thoughts and reactions. A document with 51 pages of people’s thoughts (Orthodox and Non-Orthodox) on coronavirus-related issues will be available at our website (http://nishmaresearch.com/social-research.html) in the next two days.
