Netanyahu Endorses Sharansky for 2nd Term

Speaking this morning to The Jewish Agency Board of Governors, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu called upon the Board to extend Natan Sharansky’s term for an additional four years.

While The Jewish Agency’s nominating committee has not yet recommended a candidate, the Prime Minister’s “suggestion” carries significant weight in the process.

Sharansky was elected Chair of the Executive in June 2009; his current term concludes in four months.
