Multi-national Educators from Eastern/Central Europe visiting US Partner Schools

SOS International: Bridging Jewish Communities, a nonprofit which partners North American Jewish Day Schools and Early Childhood Centers with European Jewish Day Schools and Early Childhood Centers. SOS International is currently hosting two groups of multi-national educators to the United States.

Seven Hungarian educators from the Scheiber Sandor Gimnazium, Budapest, Hungary are participants in the SOS International High School Morim Project. They are partner colleagues with Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School, Baltimore, Maryland. The partner schools provide bi-lateral professional development and cross cultural interdisciplinary education for each other.

Four educators from Bulgaria, Poland and Romania are participants in the Early Childhood Morim Project. They are primarily partnered with Beth Sholom Early Childhood Center, Potomac, Maryland and the JCC Bender Early Childhood Center, Rockville, Maryland. They will also be involved in professional development with other Jewish Early Childhood Centers in the Greater Washington Metropolitan area.
