Make Art, Not War
Shtula, Israel: Here, in Northern Israel, on a moshav near the Lebanese border, Artists 4 Israel (A4I) recently completed their most recent project. The team, consisting of 9 international artists and 5 Israelis, created more than 10 murals, taking up over 5,000 feet of the border wall with works of art in support of Israel. In addition to Israel, the artists hailed from Australia, France, Japan, South Africa, and the U.S.
A4I, whose motto is Art Over Hate, “uses all forms of urban, contemporary arts to cover the intolerance against Israel in whatever form it takes.” Their graffiti program covered the Security Fence with colorful murals and their Healing Arts Kits helped provide psychological first aid for children living under rocket attack.
While being shared hundreds of thousands of times through social media, their works of art help normalize Israel across the globe.
