Lineup Announced for JDOV at Limmud

JDovJDOV (Jewish Dreams, Observations, Visions), a project of JHub, is marking 5 years at Limmud with an exciting lineup of 9 speakers, including leading international figures making their Limmud debut.

Inspired by TED Talks, JDOV celebrates creative thinkers who want to share their Jewish dreams, observations and visions. Speakers are invited to give the ‘Jewish talk of their life’. This Limmud will see JDOV entering its 5th year, having first emerged at Limmud 2011. This new phase in JDOV’s development is marked by the launch of a brand new website, where the full library of over 100 talks can be watched.

As with all JDOV events, speakers represent a broad and diverse range of voices, with JW3 Chief Executive, Raymond Simonson, South African musician, Aron Turest-Swartz, Israeli theatre director, Adina Tal and artist and illustrator Josh Baum representing the world of arts and culture.

Rabbi Sharon Brous, one of the USA’s most prominent rabbis, who blessed President Obama and Vice President Biden at the Inaugural National Prayer Service in 2013, will be speaking.

And leading Jewish educators from the UK, Israel and USA – Jonathan Ariel, Yaffa Epstein and Dyonna Ginsburg – will also give the Jewish talk of their lives.

Finally, YidLife Crisis, performing at Limmud for the first time, will entertain with their unique brand of Yiddish comedy.

As with all JDOV talks, the talks will be filmed live and available to watch within weeks at jdov.org.
