LA Event: Jumpstart Innovation Forum

Also for Global Entrepreneurship Week, Jumpstart is hosting an event, Transforming the Landscape: Social Entrepreneurship’s Impact on the Jewish Community.

Hear from Lisa Lepson, executive director of the newly relaunched Joshua Venture Group, as she shares her thoughts on:

• What is social entrepreneurship?
• Growth and change in the field over the past 10 years;
• How to get involved in social entrepreneurship generally, and specifically in the Jewish community;
• Case Study: The Evolution of Joshua Venture Group; the changing landscape since the program initially formed in 1999 and how changes in the program reflect the current state of Jewish social entrepreneurship.

Lisa will elaborate on the national search for eight social entrepreneurs and how – if you have an important idea for a sustainable and impactful venture – you can apply for Joshua Venture Group’s Dual Investment Program.
