Sukkot Harvest Festival, hosted by Jewish community farm Coastal Roots, will take place on Sunday, October 8. Sukkot is the Coastal Roots Farm’s biggest event of the year, and the Farm expects up to a thousand community members to attend. Like produce at its on-site Farm Stand, Coastal Roots is making tickets available on a pay-what-you-can basis.

During the event, activities will take place in four original sukkah structures designed by the NewSchool of Architecture & Design.

Festival highlights include instrument design, story recording, soil play, cooking workshops, local lulav making, live music, farm talks and tours, and more. Fresh, hand-picked produce will be available at the Farm Stand, and local vendors will provide tasty food and snacks. An ambrosia garden will offer local mead, beer, and kombucha (open to ages 21 and up).

Coastal Roots Farm is committed to ensuring that everyone in the community has access to fresh, locally grown, organic produce as well as opportunities for education and community building. This year all donations will fund projects on the Farm and attendees will have the opportunity to choose where on the Farm their donation will go.
