Jcamp 180 Celebrates Success at 10th Anniversary Conference

JCamp180Jcamp180®, a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, opens its 10th anniversary Conference today in Springfield, Mass. Over 400 camp leaders are expected to attend.

Over the past nine years, Jcamp180® has contributed more than $13 million in matching grant funds and $11 million in consulting services for Jewish children’s overnight and day camps. The initiative has assisted the camps in raising an additional $225 million independently to be used for capital improvements, expansions, and endowments, thereby helping Jewish camp attendance grow from 43,000 in 2004 to 70,000 campers today.

Jcamp180®’s goal is to engage Jewish camp leaders in best practices, helping them to raise money, improve their facilities and technology, and grow attendance. They currently serve 115 camps.
