Israel Government Fellowship Program

The Israel Government Fellows Program (IGF) offers outstanding young individuals an opportunity for internship in the Israeli Government. The two main purposes for this exclusive program are to strengthen the connections between the Jewish State and the Diaspora, and to promote Jewish leadership globally. The program’s duration is ten months and combines internship at a government ministry with seminar days on issues of Israeli political culture, global Jewish current affairs, Israeli defense issues, media, economy and many more. The lectures on the program are conducted by leading public figures, members of Knesset, academics, businessmen and other prominent speakers from a range of different fields. There will also be tours around the country, visiting historical and contemporary sites, and meeting people from across the spectrum of Israeli society.

The next session will see the opening a new track providing a unique opportunity for Fellows to intern in the National Institutions of the Jewish people and leading Jewish organizations. This “Jewish Diplomacy & Governance” track will place Fellows in accordance with their field of expertise, with leading officials – for example positions will be available working alongside the Head and the CEO of the Jewish Agency. As well as the Jewish Agency, Fellows will intern in KKL-JNF, Keren Hayesod, the World Zionist Organization and many others.
