International Council of Advisors for the City of Jerusalem Launches

The International Office of Jerusalem Partnerships and the Leichtag Foundation have launched an International Council of Advisors for the City of Jerusalem. Comprised of leaders in the Jewish and philanthropic world, the members of the Council will provide counsel and leadership for Mayor Nir Barkat and the City of Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem International Council will stimulate, strengthen, and steward new partnerships and opportunities for the city of Jerusalem that will help sustain the city’s growth and vibrancy.

A number of prominent members of the Jewish and philanthropic worlds have joined the International Council, including: Johanna Arbib, President of the Jerusalem Foundation; Angelica Berrie, President of the Russell Berrie Foundation; Mark Charendoff, President of the Maimonides Fund; Jim Farley, President and CEO of the Leichtag Foundation; Terry Kassel, member Board of Directors of The Paul E. Singer Foundation; Eric Goldstein, CEO of the UJA-Federation of New York; Jeff Solomon, former President of the Andrea and Charles Bronfman Philanthropies; James Snyder, Director Emeritus of the Israel Museum; and Andrés Spoikny, President and CEO of the Jewish Funders Network.

The initiative will be led Brachie Sprung, Director of the International Office of Jerusalem Partnerships and Charlene Seidle, Executive Vice President of the Leichtag Foundation.
