Houston joins the Jewish Teen Funders Network Foundation Board Incubator

Houston, TX is the final incubator community, joining Seattle, WA, and Indianapolis, IN in the fourth cohort of the Jewish Teen Funders Network Foundation Board Incubator. Other cohorts include communities in San Diego, CA; Detroit, MI; Boston, MA; Philadelphia, PA; Toronto, Canada; Melbourne, Australia; and Israel.

Funded by Laura Lauder and the Maimonides Fund, the JTFN Foundation Board Incubator brings the success and impact of Jewish teen philanthropy programs across North America into cities around the world. Programs in the Foundation Board Incubator give teens an opportunity to participate in a group grantmaking process, consensus building, develop leadership skills, understand authentic selves and personal values and learn the principles of strategic philanthropy.

The program will be held at the Evelyn Rubenstein JCC Houston, and will be called the Houston Teen Philanthropy Initiative.
