Hillel Israel Holds Seder for Children of Migrant Workers


Last night in Tel Aviv, Hillel Israel marked Passover in a special way so to highlight the issues of freedom and liberty. In partnership with the Kibbutzim Seminary’s student union, a joint event of Israeli students together with the children of migrant workers residing in Israel combined the contents of a traditional Seder together with unique contents related to the themes of freedom and liberty. As part of the evening’s activities the children were exposed to the traditional holiday story and Seder while sharing with the Israeli participants their family’s personal story of the journey to freedom.
