Nearly two years in the making, and part of the Schusterman Connection Points program, Eighteen:22 is a first-of-its-kind convening that seeks to transform the world – for LGBTQ Jews and for the communities around us.
Taking our name from Leviticus 18:22 in an act of reclamation and defiance, Eighteen:22 will launch August 11th-13th, in Salzburg, Austria, with a three-day convening that will bring together 60 of today’s next generation of emerging and established Jewish LGBTQ and ally influencers at the Schloss Leopoldskron, home of the Salzburg Global Seminar.
Through a combination of inspirational speakers and distinguished panelists, leadership and practical skills-building workshops, and peer-led case-studies, Eighteen:22 will cultivate a global network of visionaries who are working in a variety of disciplines – across the public and private sectors – with a shared passion for advancing positive change and strengthening Jewish and LGBTQ communities.
Application Deadline is June 22, 2015.
