Deadline Approaching: Day School Educators’ Challenge

maybergDo you have a revolutionary idea that will maximize the impact of Jewish day schools?

Each year, the Jewish Education Innovation Challenge (JEIC), sponsored in part by the Mayberg Foundation, solicits proposals to pilot innovative models in Jewish day schools. We are looking for unique programs that can fundamentally change some aspect of Jewish education, inspiring students to learn, grow and connect. If selected, your program could receive a grant up to $50,000 and professional consultation over the next two years.

Applicants must propose programs that meet the following criteria:

  • Revolutionary: The program should be founded in Torah ideals instead of secular educational models.
  • Sustainable: The program should be practical and designed to thrive over time.
  • Accountable: The program should stay within budget and include measurable results.
  • Scalable: The program should be easily adaptable, so that other schools can replicate its successes.

The first step to applying is simple. Please send us your Letter of Intent – deadline January 12, 2017, including details about your school and program, by clicking here.
